Answers to the questions we are asked most, and how to reach us.

Write to [email protected]. A person reads every message and answers, usually within two working days. Tell us the device (iPhone or iPad) and the iOS version if it is a problem with the app.

The voice is not playing

Check the ring/silent switch (or the Silent mode in Control Center). Sweet Learners plays through the ringer channel so it respects Silent mode, like other children's apps.
Turn the volume up with the side buttons while the app is open.
If headphones or a speaker were connected recently, disconnect them and try again.
Still nothing? Close the app and open it again. If it persists, tell us the device and iOS version.

Why does the app ask me a sum?

That is the parent gate. Apple's Kids Category requires that anything leading out of the app, to a purchase or to subscription settings sits behind a step a toddler cannot pass on their own. The short arithmetic question is that step. Please do not read the answer aloud to your child.

iPad and landscape

Sweet Learners is one app for iPhone and iPad and works in portrait and landscape. On an iPad the Trivia photos sit side by side in landscape and stacked in portrait. If the rotation lock is on, the orientation will not change.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Every picture and recording is inside the app. It works on a plane, in the car and anywhere there is no signal. The only time the app needs a connection is when Apple processes a purchase or restores one.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall the app or set up a new device with the same Apple Account, open the parent area and tap Restore Purchases. Premium bought by a family member is available through Family Sharing when the family organiser has purchase sharing on.

Cancel or change a subscription

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. Open Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, pick Sweet Learners and tap Cancel. Cancelling during a free trial means you are not charged; cancelling later keeps Premium until the end of the paid period. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Reset play history

Open the parent area and tap Reset play history. Deleting the app also removes everything, because nothing is stored anywhere else.

Play in the browser

All our games, including Coloring and Magic Color, run in any modern browser at sweetlearners.com/play. On an iPad, add the page to the Home Screen from the Share menu for a full-screen version. The browser games store nothing and need no account.
