For ages 1½ to 4 · iPhone and iPad
Simple, happy learning games for little hands.
Tap a picture and hear its name in a slow, warm voice. Find the cat among three photos. That is the whole app: two gentle games, no ads, no account, and nothing your child does leaves the device.
Free to start. No account needed.
Two games. Nothing to read, nothing to lose.
Both games come from the free browser version parents already play with their children, rebuilt for the phone and the iPad with bigger pictures, offline play and a view for parents.
Point and Say
What your child does: taps any picture in a grid of animals, foods, things that go, shapes, numbers and colours. A soft chime plays, the picture grows a little, and a warm recorded voice says its name. Tap again and it says it again. There is no wrong tap.
What you see: nine categories and 223 pictures, which words were tapped most, and nothing that flashes or counts down.
Trivia
What your child does: hears “Where is the cat?” and sees three photos. A right tap earns a star and a cheerful “Good job!”. A wrong one gets a gentle “That’s not it, try again” and the question once more. No timer pressure and no score.
What you see: six categories and 198 photos, which words your child finds easily and which ones are still new.
Made for little hands
Big targets
Every picture is a large tile. A whole-hand slap counts as one tap, and a resting palm is ignored.
Responds on touch-down
The game answers the moment a finger lands, not when it lifts, so it feels immediate to a two-year-old.
Nothing flashes
No countdowns, no popping confetti, no music under the voice. One thing at a time, at a slow pace.
No reading needed
Pictures and a voice carry the whole game. Words appear only as a small label next to the picture that was tapped.
Slow, warm voice
Every name and question is a recording spoken slowly and clearly, the way you would say it to a toddler.
Works offline
All pictures and voices ship inside the app. It works on a plane, in the car, and anywhere there is no signal.

How we teach
Look, ask, wait, tell. The game shows a real thing, says it in a sentence and then on its own, and leaves room for your child to answer first. Speech is slow and warm, with nothing playing underneath it. Nothing is timed and nothing is scored. The best version of every game is the one you play together, sitting next to your child and repeating the words.

Questions
Is there a free version?
Yes. The free version is a real version, not a demo, and it stays usable without ever subscribing. Premium is a subscription billed by Apple with a free trial; it unlocks the extra categories and the parent view.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Cancel any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. Cancelling during the trial means you are not charged.
Does it work offline?
Yes. All pictures and recordings are inside the app, so it works with no signal and no Wi-Fi.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. Sweet Learners is one app for iPhone and iPad, in portrait and landscape.
Which ages is it for?
It is designed for children from about 1½ to 4 years old. Younger children tap and listen; older ones answer the Trivia questions. It is most fun with a parent sitting alongside.
